The Caleva “Spheronizer Mbs"

A multi bowl spheronizer system to spheronize batches from 1g to 1kg*.

A replacement for the Caleva Spheronizer 250.

 

The Caleva “Spheronizer Mbs”
Four different diameter spheronizer bowls used on the same base Work with a wide range of batch sizes with a single apparatus.

Spheronize batches from 1g to 1kg*.
Work with small samples when product is scarce or costly. Work with larger samples when larger samples can be tested or when trial quantities are required.

With the optional Datastor™ automatic recording of operational data and product temperature is possible.
Print permanent records of every run for secure storage.

Full pharmaceutical documentation packages available.

The Spheronizer 250 Kombi with the 120mm bowl attached. With inserts you can work with as little as 1g of sample.

1mm diameter spheres coated after being produced in the Caleva aSpheronizer.

 

*Maximum batch size is volume limited and depends upon bulk density of the material being spheronized. For pharmaceutical materials normally about 600g of material is spheronized (or marumerised) as a single batch.



Output and productivity

With the Caleva Spheronizer Mbs you can have:-

· A 250mm drum (100g to 1kg)
· A 120mm drum (10g to 130g)
· A 85mm drum.  (5g to 15g)
· A 60mm drum.  (1g to 5g)

The 60mm and 85mm inserts can be offered in SS316 or FDA food approved plastic

The product working capacity is from 1g to 1000g. The design of this equipment is for the spheronization  of very small samples, productivity is not generally an issue.
