Mixer Torque Rheometer (MTR-3)

Do you want a way to quantify the properties of a pharmaceutical wet mass?

Do you need to describe in a quantitative way the properties of a wet granulation during the mixing process?

The Caleva Mixer Torque Rheometer (MTR-3) is well established as a valuable formulation research tool.

 

It provides a way to quantitatively measure a wet mass in terms of the torque produced when shearing the granulation within a mixing bowl.

·    Ensure that formulations are optimized to compensate for batch variations between formulation excipients.

 

·    Identify source and batch variations within components that can affect the formulation properties and quality.  These differences can be quantified and problems solved at an early stage.

 

·    Produce quantitative data that can be used in a structured scale-up program for process development.

 

·    Develop a scale–up scheme based on quantitative data obtained in small scale saving time and cost.
